Common Questions

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between FTL and LTL road freight?
FTL (Full Truck Load) means your cargo occupies an entire truck — you pay for the full vehicle capacity and get it exclusively. It's faster (no stops for other pickups) and lower risk. LTL (Less than Truck Load) means your cargo shares space with other shippers' goods in the same truck — ideal for shipments under 5–8 tonnes where paying for a full truck would be wasteful.
How long does road freight take between major Indian cities?
Approximate transit times: Delhi to Mumbai 24–36 hours, Mumbai to Chennai 36–48 hours, Delhi to Chennai 48–60 hours, Delhi to Kolkata 36–48 hours. These are standard FTL times on national highways under normal traffic conditions. LTL adds 20–30% due to consolidation and multiple stops.
Do you offer temperature-controlled (reefer) trucking?
Yes. We have a reefer trucking fleet for pharma, food, dairy, chemicals and perishables. Our reefer trucks maintain temperatures from -25°C to +25°C with continuous temperature logging. GDP-compliant standard operating procedures are followed for pharmaceutical cargo.
Can you move cargo via rail from inland cities to Indian ports?
Yes. We operate through CONCOR's network of 35+ ICD pairs across India. Common corridors include ICD Tughlakabad (Delhi) to JNPT/Nhava Sheva, ICD Ludhiana to Mundra, ICD Sabarmati (Ahmedabad) to JNPT, and ICD Whitefield (Bengaluru) to Chennai. Rail is typically 15–20% cheaper than road for distances over 600 km.
Do you handle cross-border road freight to Nepal and Bangladesh?
Yes. We manage India-Nepal trucking through Raxaul-Birgunj and Sonauli-Bhairahawa border crossings, and India-Bangladesh through Petrapole-Benapole. We handle all cross-border customs documentation on both sides, EXIM permits, and re-export bonds.
